SRF / Skilled Worker recruitment in Indian Institute Of Horticultural Research on contractual/ad hoc basis
Project on: “Investigation on sooty blotch fly speck complex in mango and pathological status of Pyricularia species in banana and devising management strategies”
Senior Research Fellow /1 Post
Qualifications: Essential: MSc (Agri.) in Plant Pathology/ Applied Microbiology/Plant Biotechnology with 4 years/5 years of Bachelor’s degree OR Master Degree in Biotechnology with 4/5years of Bachelors degree preferably specialized in Plant Biotechnology in Master’s degree OR Master’s degree in Basic Sciences (Microbiology/ Botany/Zoology/Biotechnology) having 3 years Bachelors degree and 2 years Masters degree should have qualified NET (As regard to NET examination, any national level examination conducted by the Central Government Departments / agencies for admission to Ph.D. programme are considered as NET).
Desirable: One year experience in Horticulture/Agriculture related projects and working knowledge in computer and traditional and molecular mycology.
Emoluments: Rs. 25,000/-p.m. + 20% HRA for 1st and 2nd year, Rs. 28,000/-p.m. + 20% HRA from 3rd year onwards as per ICAR guide lines and extended project period, if any.

Qualification: Essential: Graduation in any science discipline. Desirable: One year of field experience in Horticulture/ Agriculture related projects.For both posts initial screening test may be conducted based on the situation.
Remuneration: Rs.10,000
Age limit: Date for determining the age limit shall be the closing date/date of walk-in interview. SRF: 35 years for men & 40 years for women. Skilled worker: 21 to 40 years.
