SRF Soil Science Job vacancies in Indian institute of Soil Science

1.Senior Research Fellow /01 Post

Project: “Soil Quality Assessment and Developing Indices for Major Soil and Production Regions of India”

Essential: M. Sc. in Soil Science/ Agronomy/ Environmental Science/ Chemistry with 4 years/ 5 years as the case may be of Bachelor’s degree. Candidates having post graduate degree in relevant Basic Sciences with 3 years Bachelor’s degree and 2 years Master’s degree should have N.E.T. qualification*.

Desirable: Experience of soil and plant analysis, computer applications and data analysis

Pay Scale : Rs.25000/- per month (fixed) + HRA for first & second year in 3rd year Rs.28000/- per month (fixed) + HRA 

2. Senior Research Fellow / 01 Post

Project:  “In-situ residue decomposition of ricewheat and sugarcane for enhancing crop productivity and soil health”

Essential: M. Sc. in Soil Science & Agricultural Chemistry /Microbiology/ Agricultural Microbiology with 4 years/ 5 years as the case may be of Bachelor’s degree. Candidates having post graduate degree in relevant Basic Sciences with 3 years Bachelor’s degree and 2 years Master’s degree should have N.E.T. qualification*.
Desirable: Experience in handling microorganisms inoculation/ waste recycling

Pay Scale : Rs.25000/- per month (fixed) + HRA for first & second year in 3rd year Rs.28000/- per month (fixed) + HRA

Age limit:   35 years for Men and 40 years for women
