SRF/ Young Professional II job vacancies in National Research Centre for Grapes

Senior Research Fellow

Project title: Validation of DUS descriptor joy Indian Grapes.

Qualification: Master Degree in relevant subject with 4 years / 5 years Bachelor’s degree. Candidates having post graduate degree in Basic Sciences with 3 years Bachelor’s degree and 2 years Master’s degree should have NET qualification, with at least two years of research experience

Desirable: Field Experience in maintaining and documentation of planting material will be preferred.

Salary: Rs.31,000/- + HRA

SRF

Project Title: Evaluating bio-efficacy of liquid thiosulphate fertilizers on table grape.

Qualification: M. Sc. (Ag.) in Soil Science / Horticulture / Plant Physiology / Biochemistry / Agriculture Physics with 4 years of B. Sc. (Ag.) degree. OR Master Degree in Analytical Chemistry / Bio-Chemistry and qualified NET Examinations and 2 years research experience.

Desirable: Knowledge of analytical techniques in laboratory. Should be able to handle routine laboratory equipments like pH meter, EC bridge, AAS, Flame photometer, UV-Vis Spectrophotometers, etc. Knowledge of computer usage (MS Office at least). The work may require visit to different grape growing areas for sample collection. 

Salary: Rs.31000/- + HRA 

Age Limit:35 years for Men & 40 years for Women as on the date of interview

Young Professional II 

Project Title: Effect of Macarena and Brique on table grape.

Qualification: M. Sc. (Ag.) in Soil Science / Horticulture / Plant Physiology / Biochemistry / Agriculture Physics with 4 years of B. Sc. (Ag.) degree.

Desirable: Knowledge of analytical techniques in laboratory. Qualification: M. Sc. (Ag.) in Horticulture / M. Sc. (Ag.) in Plant Biochemistry / M. Sc. (Ag.) in Plant Physiology with 4 years of B. Sc. (Ag.) degree.

Desirable: Knowledge about grape cultivation, growth stages and observations recording.Experience in biochemical analysis of plants, fruits and soils as evidenced by research papers.

Salary: 25,000/-

Age Limit:Minimum 21 years to maximum 40 years with relaxation as per rules
