Job Description
A walk-in-interview/on-line interview for recruiting one Senior Research Fellow (SRF) under National
Food Security Mission (NFSM) funded project and one Young Professional-II (YP-II) under HRD Cell
on temporary and contractual basis
Development of a national data base on millets and establishing benchmarks for production, consumption and utilization of millets
SRF (One post)
Rs.31,000 +HRA (as admissible)
Essential qualifications: Master degree in Agricultural Economics/ Dairy Economics/ Fisheries Economics/ Agricultural Statistics/Statistics with 4 years / 5 years of Bachelor degree. Candidates having post graduate degree with 3 years of Bachelor degree and two years of Master degree should have NET qualifications and 2 years of research experience as mentioned in OM No.Edn./6/27/2014/HRD dated 13-07- 2015 and OM No. Agril. Edn.6/27/2014- HRD dt. 09-10-2015 of the Council and OM SR/S9/Z-09/2018 of DST dated 30- 01-2019.
Desirable qualification: Knowledge of quantitative techniques/ data management and analysis. Experience in the use of statistical software for data analysis.
YP-II (One post)
Pay Scale: Rs. 25000/- (Consolidate
Essential: Master degree in Computer Science/ Information Technology/ MCA or equivalent Master degree from a recognized university Desirable:Knowledge in Mobile App development .
Age limit:Minimum age is 21 years and maximum age is 35 years and 45 years for SRF and YP-II respectively(age relaxation of five years for SC/ST & women and three years for OBC)
