Job Description – Nurse

·         Assessing a patient’s condition and planning and implementing patient care plans

·         Mediate between the patient and the doctor physicians

·         Observing and recording patient vital signs and communicate the same to the physician

·         Observation, recording and reporting of all procedures and tests

·         Ensuring that monitors and other types of medical equipment function properly

·         Administering intravenous fluids and medications

·         Ordering diagnostic tests

·         Acting as patient advocate

·         Providing education and support to patient families

·         Counseling the patients and relatives

·         Carry out patient’s teaching and demonstration according to the patient need and as per doctor’s advice.

·         Identifies patient care requirements by establishing personal rapport with potential and actual patients and other persons in a position to understand care requirements.

·         Establishes a compassionate environment by providing emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients, friends, and families.

·         Promotes patient's independence by establishing patient care goals; teaching patient, friends, and family to understand condition, medications, and self-care skills; answering questions.

·         Basic communication Skill (Speaking and writing) for English, Hindi and local language,

·         Basic knowledge of computer (Ms Office, Internet surfing)

·         Visiting and meeting different community groups to understand their Healthcare needs as also to promote the use of the Dispensary

·         Any other work that may be deemed necessary for the operation of the Clinic

Qualification: GNM /ANM (Registered)
