Staff Nurse /Laboratory Technician/CSSD Technician/Radiotherapy Technologist recruitment in Dr B Borooah Cancer Institute, Guwahati

Applications in the prescribed form are invited from Indian citizens for the following ad-hoc posts at Dr B Borooah Cancer Institute, Regional Cancer Centre, Guwahati-781016, Assam, India.

1. Staff Nurse/35 Posts

Qualification:  B.Sc. Nursing with minimum 1 year of Nursing Experience. Preference will be given to candidate having Oncology Nursing experience

Pay Scale : Rs.17,790 per month

2. ICU Technician/4 Posts ,3. OT Technician/4 Posts

Qualification:  B.Sc with 55% marks and one year certificate/ diploma course in ICU / OT Technician / Respiratory Therapy Technician. One year work experience as ICU Technician / OT Technician is desirable or Bachelor degree in Paramedical Technology – OT Techniques / Bachelor degree in Respiratory Therapy / or Equivalent with minimum 55% marks in bachelor degree. One year work experience as OT / ICU Technician is desirable

OR, B.Sc. with 55% marks and one year work experience as ICU/ OT Technician in a reputed hospital is mandatory.

Pay Scale : Rs.15,180 per month

4. Laboratory Technician/2 Posts

Qualification: B.Sc with DMLT. One year experience in Hospital.

5. Radiotherapy Technologist/3 Posts

Qualification:  B.Sc Physics (with min. 55% marks) and PG Diploma in Radiotherapy Technology. Preference will be given to those who have experience in a modern Department of Radiation Oncology using Linear Accelerators.

6.CSSD Technician/2 Posts

Qualification: 10+2 Standard and One year Certificate course in CSSD Technology.

7. Anaesthesia Technician/4 Posts

Qualification: 10+2 (Science) and 2 years certificate course in Anaesthesia Technology.

8. Plumber/1 Post, 9. AC Technician/1 Post

Qualification: SSC passed and having 2 years ITI / NCTVT or Trade Certificate with AC and refrigeration from recognized Institute, minimum 2 years experience in handling air-conditioning and refrigeration system.

Pay Scale : Rs.15,180 per month

10. Jr. Engineer – Electrical (Maintenance)/1 Post

Qualification: Diploma in Electrical (10+3) Engineering with two year experience.

11.Electrical Technician/1 Post

Qualification: ITI Electrician with NCTVT with two years experience

Pay Scale : Rs.15,180 per month

12. House Keeping Supervisor/2 Post

Qualification: Graduate with Diploma in Housekeeping / Hotel Management. Preference will be given to the candidate with working experience from reputed Hospitals / hotels

Pay Scale : Rs.17,790 per month

13. Dietician/1 Post

Qualification:  Master’s Degree in Food and Nutrition or Home Science or Home Economics or Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics from a recognized university or Institute. Or, Master’s Degree in Food Science and Nutrition or Food and Nutrition Dietetics or Dietetics and Food Services Management from a recognized University or Institute. Or, B.Sc. Food and Nutrition or Food Science and Nutrition or Home Science or Home Economics or Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics or Food and Nutrition Dietetics or Dietetics and food service management from a recognized university or Institute; and

Post Graduate Diploma in Dietetics from a recognized university or Institute; and One year practical experience in Dietetics in a 100 bedded hospital or organization under the Central or State Government or Autonomous or statutory body or public sector undertaking or university or recognized research institute.

14.Physiotherapist/1 Post

Qualification:  HS Science with Diploma / Degree in Physiotherapy of not less than 3 years duration from a recognized board / university / Institute. Minimum 2 years in physiotherapy / occupational therapy works in a recognized hospital / Institute / its equivalent.

15.Speech and Swallowing Therapist/1 Post

Qualification:  Hold a recognised qualification in Speech and Language Therapy and registered with the Speech and Language Therapy Registration Board / Council. Experience of working with adults with acquired communication and swallowing

Difficulties in an acute hospital setting is desirable.

Pay Scale : Rs.17,790 per month

16. Mould Room Technician/1 Post

Qualification:  10+2 Science with 2 years Diploma in Radiotherapy Technology.

Pay Scale : Rs.15,180 per month

Candidates with working experience in respective field will be given preference.
Appointment will be made for one year.

Age : Below 30 years.
