Job Description
Responsibilities - Check inventory, ensure that the equipment and other articles are kept in proper place in working condition and report to shift in charge.
Take over the assigned babies with file ensuring that the orders are carried out, documentation is complete, patient and the unit is neat and clean.
Follow the admission process as per protocol. Ensure that the doctor visit the patient and start the treatment without delay.
Administer medication on time by paying attention to all rights of drug administration.
Maintain patient’s nutritional status as adviced by doctor.
Accompany the doctor for rounds and carry out the orders properly without delay.
Prepare and assist the doctor for bed side procedures.
Prepare and perform the diagnostic tests in a proper manner when ordered.
Perform the routine nursing care as per protocol.
