Advertisement for walk-in-interview for ad-hoc post of Staff Nurses at Dr B Borooah Cancer Institute. Guwahati.
Eligibility :General Nursing & Midwifery plus Diploma in Oncology Nursing with 2 years clinical experience in a 50 bedded hospital OR, Basic or Post Basic B.Sc. (Nursing) with 2 years clinical experience in minimum 50 bedded hospital.
Salary :Rs.24,000/- (Rupees twenty four thousand only) per month Appointment will be made for 6 (six) months.

Dr. Bhubaneswar Borooah (4th September 1893 - 25th September 1956) was a great physician, freedom fighter and philanthropist of Assam. In 1958 at a public meeting in Guwahati, a decision was taken to set up a cancer hospital at Guwahati to commemorate the memory of Dr. Bhubaneswar Borooah.
