Steno Typist Grade III recruitment in E Courts - Tiruchirappalli District on temporary basis

Qualification : Must Possess Minimum General Educational Qualification Viz., Must Have Passed S.S.L.C. Public examination or its equivalent.
Technical Qualification : Must have passed the Government Technical Examination in' Shorthand and Typewriting; (i)by the Higher Grade in Tamil and English, or, ii) by Higher Grade in Tamil and Lower Grade in English, or, iii)by Higher Grade in English and Lower Grade in Tamil, provided that candidates with the qualifications referred to in item (ii)above, shall be appointed only, if ,candidates with the qualifications referred to in item (1) above, are not available; Provided further that the qualifications referred to in item (iii) above, shall be appointed only if the candidates with the qualifications referred to in items (i) and (ii) above, are not available.

Woraiyur, a part of present day Tiruchirappalli, was the capital city of Cholas from 300B.C. onwards. This is supported by archaeological evidences and ancient literatures. There are also literary sources which tell tha Woraiyur continued to be under the control of cholas even during the days of Kalabhra interrengnum(A.D. 300 - 575 ). Later, Woraiyur along with the present day Tiruchirappalli and its neighboring areas came under the control of Mahendra Varma Pallava I, who ascended the throne in A.D. 590. Till A.D. 880, according to the inscriptions, this region was under the hegemony of either the Pallvas or the Pandyas. It was in A.D. 880, Aditya Chola brought a downfall to the Pallava dynasty.
