Job Description:

Receipt of incoming materials as per the approved process and timely accounting of the same in ERP.
Stacking and preservation of materials as per the laid down guidelines and manufacturers instruction manual
Issue of materials to the project as free issue, chargeable and returnable basis as per the procedure
Tracking of Returnable materials; Charging of chargeable materials; Stock taking as per schedules
Ensure security of the materials under custody and safe material handling
Maintaining overall housekeeping of the Stores area in 5S way to ensure quick retrieval of materials
Sending MIS to HO Materials Management as per the schedule (weekly/monthly)
Periodic reconciliation of materials as per SOP.
Compliance of Stores activities to ISO and OHSAS
Knowledge of insurance, legal issues and statutory related Regulations
Management of Site Stores / Materials Management function in Construction Projects (Preferably in Metro, High Rise Buildings, Oil & Gas, Railways (DFCC, OHE), RGGY, Sub-Station and T&D)
