Job Description
Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Store Sales Executive to join our Ayurvedic retail store team. This position involves handling billing, stock management, customer interaction, and day-to-day operations within the store. The ideal candidate must be computer literate, organized, and customer-friendly. A 3-month paid training period will be provided, during which the individual’s performance will be assessed to determine eligibility for a permanent position.
This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about wellness and Ayurveda and are looking for a stable career in the retail health and wellness sector. As a Store Sales Executive, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth store operations, accurate billing, and proper inventory management while delivering excellent service to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Billing and Sales Operations:

Operate the billing software to accurately process customer purchases.

Handle point-of-sale (POS) systems efficiently, including cash, card, and digital payments.

Issue receipts, manage returns, and resolve billing discrepancies if any.

Ensure proper scanning or entering of product details to maintain accurate records.

Suggest suitable Ayurvedic products to customers based on their requirements (basic knowledge will be provided during training).
2. Stock and Inventory Management:

Maintain accurate stock levels and update the system regularly.

Assist in stock entry, labeling, tagging, and placement of items on shelves.

Conduct regular stock checks and report discrepancies to the store manager.

Coordinate with suppliers or the procurement team for stock replenishment.

Ensure that all products are stored in a clean, organized, and safe manner, following Ayurvedic product handling guidelines.
3. Customer Service and Support:

Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.

Provide product-related information, guidance on usage, and dosage (training will be provided).

Handle customer queries or concerns with patience and professionalism.

Build good relationships with repeat customers to enhance store loyalty.
4. Store Upkeep and Compliance:

Ensure the store is clean, well-organized, and properly maintained.

Support team members in setting up promotional displays and visual merchandising.

Follow store procedures for safety, hygiene, and product handling, especially with Ayurvedic goods.
5. Training and Learning (First 3 Months):

Attend and actively participate in training sessions covering billing software, inventory systems, product knowledge, and customer service.

Learn Ayurvedic product basics, including categories, common ingredients, and their uses.

Apply knowledge and skills learned during training in day-to-day operations.

Be open to feedback and demonstrate improvement over the training period.
Required Qualifications and Skills:

Minimum qualification: 12th Pass (Graduate preferred).

Basic computer knowledge is mandatory (MS Office, billing software, or POS systems).

Good communication skills in Hindi and basic English (local language knowledge is a plus).

Prior experience in retail, pharmacy, or Ayurvedic store is an advantage but not compulsory.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in billing and stock handling.

Customer-focused attitude with good interpersonal skills.

Willingness to learn about Ayurvedic products and adapt to store processes.
Training Period Details:

Duration: 3 months (with salary).

Objective: To train the candidate in all store operations including billing, stock management, and customer service.
