1. Study Physician
Essential: MBBS with 60% aggregate marks, recognized by MCI. 3 years of clinical experience . Knowledge of Computer Applications Desirable: DNB/MD in Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine
Pay Scale: Rs.70000
Age: 40 yrs
2. Research Assistant
Essential: Masters in Life Science with 60% aggregate marks from a recognized University. Minimum 3 years work experience from a recognized research laboratory. Desirable: Working experience on Mycobacteriology, Molecular Techniques, RNA processing, ELISA techniques, PBMC processing, cryopreservation and revival of cells.
Pay Scale: Rs. 28800(including 20% HRA)

3. Senior Health Visitor-I
Essential: Master of Social Work (MSW) with 60% aggregate marks from a recognized university. Desirable: 2 years of experience in field/hospital (Govt. /private sector/hospital-welfare/health agency, preferably Medical/Public Health Service). Knowledge of computer applications.

Pondichery' was established by French government. In November 1956 the
Government of India took over the medical college in the wake of the ‘de
facto’ transfer of Pondicherry. The college was upgraded as a Regional
Centre and named as Jawaharlal Institute of Post-graduate Medical
Education and Research (JIPMER) on 13th July 1964.
