Selection Process :
Selection process will comprise written test, Viva-Voce,
Physical Standard test & Endurance test.
Endurance Test For Women, In-service & Ex-servicemen
will consist of : 400 Mtrs Run in 2 Minutes, Long Jump 2.50 Mtrs Or High Jump
0.90 Mtrs, Shotput ( 4 Kg) throw 3.75 Mtrs.
Endurance Test For All others Candidates will consist of :
1600 Mtrs Run in 6 Minutes 30 seconds, Long Jump 3.80 Mtrs Or High Jump 1.20
Mtrs, Shotput ( 7.26 Kg) throw 5.60 Mtrs.
Application Fee : Rs. 100/- for SC/ST and Rs. 250/- for others. Fee is to be paid through HDFC / Post office only.

About Company
Mysore State was the predecessor to Karnataka State, which
was created on 1st November 1965 Sri L Rickets was appointed as first Inspector
General of Police, prior to which the State Police had no status, structure and
powers as such. During 1883 it was reported that Talwars, Thotis, Neeragantis, Kavalugararu,
Amaragararu, Ankamaale, Patela, Shyanubhogas etc. used to do policing. During
the rule of Maharajas of Mysore, the policing existed in different variants.
