Sub Officer-B / Driver-Cum-Pump Operator-Cum-Fireman-A  job Position in Bhabha Atomic Research Centre

Sub Officer/B (Post Code : DR-02)

Qualification :  Xth Standard, SSC Pass or equivalent, plus Sub Officer‟s Course from National Fire Service College OR from CISF Fire Training Centre. Persons having valid Heavy Vehicle driving Licence will be given preference.

Experience :  12 years - 5 years as LFM or 15 years as Fireman / Driver Cum Operator in a recognized Civil / Industrial Fire Service Station is essential. Out of the above experience, 2 years relevant experience must be after obtaining the requisite qualification.

Level in the Pay Matrix Level : 6

Entry Pay :  Rs. 35400/- + allowance as admissible under Central Government Rules

Age Limit : Minimum 18 Years and Maximum 40 Years as on the closing date of application. Maximum 5 years relaxation in upper age limit will be allowed in the case of candidates with longer experience and outstanding merit and to the Departmental candidates .

Physical Standards :

a. No deformity

b. Height : 165 Cms. Minimum

c. Weight : 50 Kgs. Minimum

d. Chest : 81 Cms. Normal

e. Chest : 86 Cms. Expansion

f. Vision : 6/6, without wearing glasses or any other aid. Night or color blindness shall be a disqualification

Selection Method :  The selection will be based on of Physical Endurance Test and Written Test in 2 stages

Driver-Cum-Pump Operator-Cum-Fireman/A  (Post Code : DR-03)

Qualification :  HSC, 10+2, Science with Chemistry or equivalent with minimum 50% of marks + valid Heavy Vehicle Driving License with minimum one year driving experience + Certificate Course in Fire Fighting equipments such as Fire Extinguisher etc. from the State Fire Training Centres.

Level in the Pay Matrix Level : 3

Entry Pay  :  Rs. 21700/- + allowance as admissible under Central Government Rules

Age Limit :  Minimum 18 Years and Maximum 25 Years as on the closing date of application

Physical Standards :

d. Chest : 81 Cms. Normal

Selection Method :  The selection process involves Physical Endurance Test, Driving Test and Written Test in 2 stages. Those qualified in the Physical Endurance Test will only be allowed for written test. There will be negative marking for the written test.

Driver Ordinary Grade (Post Code : DR-04)

Qualification :  1. X th Standard - SSC Pass or equivalent 2. Possession of a valid driving licence to drive light and heavy vehicles 3. Knowledge of motor mechanism. The candidate should be able to remove minor defects in vehicles 4. Consolidated experience in driving a light or heavy vehicle for at least 3 years

Desirable : Possession of a valid driving licence to drive two wheelers

Level in the Pay Matrix :  Level 2

Entry Pay :  Rs. 19900/- + allowance as admissible under Central Government Rules

Age Limit :  Minimum 18 Years and Maximum 27 Years as on the closing date of application

Selection Method : The selection process will consists of 2 Level. Level 1: Written Test: Questions will be of General Knowledge, General English, Arithmetic, Motor Vehicles Act. Level 2 : Driving Test: Those who have qualified in the Level-1 will only be called for Driving Test Selected candidates will be empanelled in order of merit based on marks obtained in Level 1 & 2

Application Fee :  Rs.150/- for the post of Stipendiary Trainee Category-I & Sub Officer/B and Rs.100/- for remaining posts.
