The Subject Matter Expert is a key role at PlanetSpark. This is an opportunity to build the fastest growing English Language learning company for kids to shape the future of the next generation of confident speakers.

The incumbent will own the design and implementation of Public Speaking / Communication Skills content for the company.

Eligibility Criteria:- Willing to work 6 days a week- Willing to work in a Series A funded startup and build everything from scratch- 1 to 4 years of experience in content development in Public SpeakingRoles and Responsibilities/ Mission Statement: The SME will be the sole custodian for all learning content onPublicSpeakingtaught at PlanetSpark. Thus, this will be a very high impact role in the company. 1) Content Development:- Lead the Design and develop content Public Speaking across different age groups- Create guidelines and training for a pool of freelance content developers - Project Management: Be accountable for ensuring timely delivery of content by content developers by providing timely feedback 2) Curriculum Development / Experience Design:- Holistically craft the course curriculum to incorporate the overall learning experience of the child through different means such as lessons, activities, projects, contests and portfolios - Benchmark the curriculum with the industry and customer needs- Research and implement pedagogical changes to ensure activity-based engaging learning experiences for the children3) Quality:- Design a process for ensuring 100% error-free content in a scalable manner- Create mechanisms to measure the efficacy of the content 4) Learning Outcomes and Projects:- Create summative and formative assessments to measure learning outcomes of the students- Implement project-based learning to help kids learn through projects and demonstrate expertise5) Teacher Training and Delivery- Design and deliver training programmes for teachers to ensure content delivery- Audit classes and suggest improvements in deliveryCandidate Profile:- 1 to 4 years of experience in design and implementation of communication skills related programmes- A background in learning and development is highly preferred- Excellent communication skills and creative thinkingWhat are the behavioral attributes that we are looking for?- A keen desire to transform language learning for kids for a fast-growing Series A funded startup- An obsession with designing the best learning experiences- An apparent Founder's mindset i.e. A mindset where the person can own up learning outcomes and teacher quality and shape it independently like a Founde
