Subject Matter Specialist (Agrometeorology)/No. of vacancy : 09
Essential:
i. Minimum 2nd Class Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture with atleast 55%
marks.
ii. Master Degree in Agricultural Meteorology/Agricultural Physics with
specialization in Agricultural Meteorology and having good academic
record from a recognized University with 55% marks and relaxation as
per Govt. rule.
iii. The candidate must have knowledge of Odia upto 7th Standard, in case of the candidates who have no knowledge of Odia, they have to pass Odia of 7th Standard within a period of one year.

Desirable :02 years experience of working in ICAR system or KVK or equivalent institution.

Essential: i. + 2 from science stream along with basic knowledge of computer application. ii. The candidate must have knowledge of Odia up to 7th Standard.
Scale of pay : Rs.5,200 - 20,200/- plus GP Rs.2,000
Age : Maximum 32 years
Selection Procedure: The applicants shall have to appear a written test of 175 marks of 2 hour duration comprising of objective type questions from General Knowledge-50, General English-50, Quantitative Aptitude-75. Basing on the performance of the written examination the eligible candidates will be called for computer test of 25 marks.
Application Fee: Fees of the application for the post ( Non-refundable) Rs.700/- (Rupees seven hundred) only for “Subject Matter Specialist” Rs. 500/- (Rupees five hundred) only for “ Agromet Observer” .
