Job Description
Focus Areas in Science areas in Science and Technology Summer Fellowship - 2018
International Centre for Theoretical Sciences, Agastya Foundation and Gyanome Foundation are partnering in projects that aim at promoting Math Awareness, Math Education and Outreach. This will mainly be done through content creation in Mathematics for Indian students and teachers, and establishing a Ramanujan Math Park at the Agastya Campus in Kuppam. Science Academies (Indian Academy of Sciences, Indian National Science Academy (INSA), The National Academy of Sciences, India) will support summer internships for students and teachers interested in this program.
Students (final UG and first year PG courses), Teachers from Science, Engineering and Design backgrounds with an interest and appreciation for Mathematics are encouraged to apply.
The selected candidates will have a unique opportunity to interact with leading interdisciplinary group of mathematicians and Math Communicators.
Accommodation costs will be subsidized and a stipend amount of Rs 10,000/- will be paid along with a Certificate of Participation and Appreciation from the above organizations after successful completion of the internship.
