Job Description
- Advanced knowledge of Windows 2003 / 2008 server
- Sound knowledge of Active Directory, DHCP and including AD integrated DNS
- Good knowledge of IIS Server, FTP Server, TFS (Team Foundation Server)
- Understanding of Microsoft Exchange 2003-2010
- Should have managed environment for a large userbase
- Good knowledge of SharePoint Services
- Experience in Managing SQL Server (SQL 2000-2008)
- Good knowledge in Firewall configuration
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Flexible approach to working hours and be adaptable to change
- Knowledge of Email archiving technology
- Linux deployment standards
- Install / Uninstall softwares
- Verify that peripherals are working properly
- Quickly arrange repair for hardware in occasion of hardware failure
- Monitor system performance
- Create file systems (data storage in such devices)
- Create and Maintain the System chart
- Create a backup and recover policy
- Monitor network communication
- Update system as soon as new version of OS and application software comes out
- Implement the policies for the use of the computer system and network
- Setup security policies for users
- Maintaining systems and servers (proper shutdown)
- Understand about management information systems (MIS)
- Adding and configuring new workstations
- Setting up user accounts
- Installing system-wide software
- Performing procedures to prevent the spread of viruses
- Maintaining system anti virus
- Allocating mass storage space
- User administration (setup and maintaining account) and reporting to management
