The Role:

• Installing, management, and troubleshooting of Windows Server Technologies and Linux Server Technologies.
• Strong skills supporting Windows Server 2012/2016 including Active Directory, Group Policies
• Provide remote support for businesses across a variety of industries.
• Manage servers, including e-mail, print and backup servers and their associated operating systems, software and peripherals.
• Administer and maintain end user accounts, permissions, and access rights.
• Practice network asset management, including maintenance of network component inventory and related documentation and technical specifications information.
• Perform server and security audits, system backups and recovery.

Skills:

• Networking (Switching, Routing, Firewalls)MS Windows, Linux, VMware, Proxmox, Docker.
• RHCT/RHCA, MCSE (Sorry no dumpers, only with real knowledge)
• Linux Server Administration (CentOS, Ubuntu, Debian)
• Web Server Administration (Apache, Nginx, proxies/reverse proxies)
• Database Administration (MSSQL, MySQL)Backup
• Backup technologies.
• Windows and Linux scripting

You will possess:

• Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills of technical issues.
• Excellent communication skills
• Organisational skills are required to ensure compliance with corporate standards.
• Strong research initiative, a self-starter at locating relevant documentation, support and process assistance
• A continuous improvement mindset with an ability to refine processes to make them more efficient and effective, making more effective use of the resources.
• An ability to think 'outside of the box' with a long-term view, when recommending solutions.
• Strong teamwork skills across a diverse workforce.
• Minimum Educational Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computers/IT.
