System Administrator Trainee Programme recruitment in Supercomputer Education and Research Centre (SERC), Indian Institute of Science (IISc)
Minimum Qualification : MCA/M.Sc.(Computer Science), BE/B.Tech in any one of the following
Disciplines: Computer Science, Information Science, Information Technology, Electronics & Communication, Electrical & Electronics, and Telecommunication.
Number of Positions: General-5, OBC-4, SC-2 In case of OBC the 4 posts are split as 3 + 1 (backlog) One of the positions is reserved for physically challenged persons.
Visually Handicapped candidates need not apply.
Duration of Training:1 year
Stipend : Rs. 15000
Skills Required : Knowledge of C programming and UNIX are required.
Job Description: Trainees are exposed to advanced computing systems in a networked environment and on-job training in operation and administration of such systems is imparted. Trainees are expected to work in any of the three shifts including night shifts and holidays.
Application Fee: Rs 150/- for GM,OBC and Rs. 75/- for SC ( No DD for PH candidates) DD should be drawn in favour ofThe Registrar, Indian Institute of Science, payable at Bangalore.
