6 - 12 years of relevant work experience on Embedded System products/domain
Execute tests to documented plan on a range of 32-bit touch microcontrollers using Development Kits & PC based Software
Accurately record test findings, in line with agreed procedures
Assist in fault investigation, issue fixing and subsequent testing/re-testing
Update and develop test cases
Acquire in-depth knowledge of relevant products
Grow into provision of customer application support for Microchipâs capacitive Touch products
Provide timely status reports on testing and findings to Team Leader
Assist with development of automatic testing of software systems

Job Requirements

Essential

Experience of Microcontroller based product testing techniques and approaches
Experience in hardware design using 8 bit and/or 32 bit microcontrollers
Experience in design/testing of I2C, SPI and USB busses
Experience in handling test and diagnostic equipment e.g. Oscilloscopes, Signal Generators, Logic Analyzers
Experience in test case design and testing of Embedded software and systems
Experience of circuit fault finding
Experience of schematic and PCB reading

Useful

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Hold a bachelorâs or masterâs degree in ECE or Computer science
Have strong verbal and written communication skills
Be self-motivated and also comfortable working in a collaborative group environment
Be able to reach out to different stakeholders to solve any problem, as situations demand
Be able to work with multi-site cross-functional teams
Adhere to standards, guidelines and best practices
Some regional and international travel may be required
