Tabla Accompanist

Qualifications : 1. Proficiency in the art of Tabla Playing with particular reference to the accompaniment aspects both for Vocal (Khyal and Dhrupad gayakies) and Instrumental. 2.  Degree/ Diploma in Tabla/Pakhawaj or should have undergone training in Tabla/Pakhawaj under an established Guru, for a period not less than 3 years. 3. Two years of working experience in University College/ recognized Institution/A.I.R./Doordarshan.

Desirable : 1. Knowledge of other percussion instruments like Dholak, Naal etc. 2. Knowledge of Hindustani Music (Vocal/Instrumental). 3. Persons having educational background will be given preference.

Age Limit : 55 years

Sarangi Player

No. of Post : 01 (ST)

Qualifications :  1.  Sound knowledge of Music. 2. Competence in playing Hindustani Music upon Sarangi with particular reference to the accompaniment aspect. 3. Proficiency in Classical and Light Classical Music.

Age Limit: 55 years.

Tanpura Player

No. of Posts : 01 (Unreserved) & 01 (OBC)

Qualification : 1. Sound knowledge of Music. 2. Proficiency in performance. 3. Ability to tune Tanpura & Sitar. 4.   Ability to change strings of Tanpura & Sitar and do minor Jawari adjustment.

Desirable : 1.  Degree/ Diploma in Vocal music. 2.  Persons having educational background will be given preference.

Age Limit : 55 years

Consolidated Salary : Rs. 15,800/- per month.
