Asst.Professor recruitment in Tata Memorial Hospital
Asst.Professor, Medical Oncology (SOLID TUMOR):
Qualification & Experience : D.M. (Medical Oncology) OR equivalent postgraduate degree recognised by Medical Council of India OR M.D.(Medicine) from India with Board Certificate in Medical Oncology from U.S.A. or U.K. Preference will be given to candidates having experience in Solid Tumor Oncology. Candidates who appeared for DM may also apply for the post.
Asst.Professor, Medical Oncology (ADULT HAEMATOLYMPHOID)
Qualification & Experience : D.M. (Medical Oncology) OR equivalent postgraduate degree OR D.M. (Haematology) recognised by Medical Council of India OR M.D. (Medicine) from India with Board Certificate in Haematolymphoid Oncology from U.S.A. or U.K. Preference will be given to candidates having Haemato-Oncology experience.
Asst.Professor, Pediatric Oncology
Qualification & Experience : M.Ch (Pediatric Surgery) / D.N.B. in Pediatric Surgery / Surgical Oncology OR equivalent postgraduate degree recognised by MCI with 1 year experience post M.Ch / D.N.B. in Pediatric Surgical Oncology / Surgical Oncology.
Asst.Professor, Surgical Oncology (GASTROINTESTINAL) (G.I.)
Qualification & Experience : M.CH in Surgical Oncology OR equivalent degree recognized by Medical Council of India with minimum 1 year experience in Gastrointestinal (GI) / Hepato-Pancreatico-Biliary (HPB) Oncosurgery. OR M.S./DNB in Surgery with post degree 3 years’ experience in Hepato Pancreatic Biliary Surgery. Experience in Laparoscopic/ Robotic Gastrointestinal and HPB oncology willbe preferred. Candidate should have a good academic track record and be inclined towards clinical research. Candidates will be considered for higher grade commensurate to their credentials.
Asst.Professor, Surgical Oncology (URO Oncology)
Qualification & Experience : M.Ch.(Urology) or equivalent postgraduate degree recognized by MCI with minimum 1 year experience in URO Oncology in a recognized Institute after post graduation. One year experience in Urological Oncology is desirable.
Asst.Professor, Radio Diagnosis
Qualification & Experience :M.D. OR equivalent postgraduate degree in Radiology / Radio-diagnosis recognized by MCI with 03 years post M.D. /D.N.B. experience. Candidates with less than 3 years’ but more than 1 year experience after postgraduation will be considered for lower grade.
Asst.Professor, Medical Oncology (PEDIATRIC)(HAEMATOLYMPHOID)
Qualification & Experience : D.M. (Pediatric Oncology) / D.M. (Medical Oncology) OR equivalent degree recognized by MCI. OR M.D. in Paediatrics or equivalent postgraduate degree recognized by MCI with 3 years’ exclusive experience in Paediatric Oncology in a teaching institute.
Asst.Professor, Radiation Oncology
Qualification & Experience : M.D.. (Radiation Oncology/Radiotherapy) or equivalent postgraduate degree recognized by Medical Council of India with minimum 3 years’ post M.D./ D.N.B. experience in a MCI recognized teaching hospital or cancer centre. Adequate experience in Brachytherapy techniques, advanced 3D conformal treatment planning techniques and IMRT are desirable for this position. Candidates with less than 3 years’ but more than 1 year experience after M.D. will be considered for lower grade.
Asst.Professor, Anaesthesiology
Qualification & Experience : M.D. (Anesthesia) or (equivalent postgraduate degree in Anesthesiology) recognized by MCI with 3 years’ post M.D./ D.N.B. experience in Anesthesia in a Teaching Hospital. Experience in critical care and pain management is desirable. Candidates with less than 3 years’ but more than 1 year experience after M.D. will be considered for lower grade.
Asst.Professor, Palliative Care Medicine
Qualification & Experience : M.D. in Palliative Medicine OR M.D. or M.S. in any Clinical Branch or equivalent postgraduate degree recognized by Medical Council of India with minimum 3 years’ post M.D. /M.S. experience in Palliative care in a large hospital or cancer centre. A Post Graduate Diploma or Certified Training in Palliative Medicine is desirable. In the absence of suitable candidates, doctors with one year post M.D. /M.S. exclusive experience in palliative care will be considered for appointment in a lower Grade.
Asst.Professor, Nuclear Medicine
Qualification & Experience : M.D. / D.N.B. in Nuclear Medicine recognized by Medical Council of India with 3 years post M.D. / D.N.B. experience in PET and Fusion Imaging (PET/CT, SPECT/CT) in a recognized teaching hospital. Candidates with less than 3 years’ but more than 1 year experience after M.D. will be considered for lower grade.
Asst.Professor, Pathology
Qualification & Experience : M.D. / D.N.B. (Pathology) or equivalent postgraduate degree in Pathology recognized by MCI with minimum 3 years post MD / experience in Pathology. Experience in Onco-Pathology, Cytology,Haemato-Pathology, or Molecular Pathology is desirable. Candidates with less than 3 years’ but more than 1 year experience after M.D. will be considered for lower grade.
Asst.Professor, Surgical oncology
Qualification & Experience : M.Ch.(Surgical Oncology) or equivalent OR M.S.(General Surgery) or equivalent postgraduate degree recognized by MCI with 3 years’ post M.S. experience in Surgical Oncology.
Asst.Professor, Biochemistry
Qualification & Experience : M.D. (Biochemistry) recognized by Medical Council of India with 03 years’ post M.D. experience in service, education and research in Clinical Biochemistry preferably in a teaching Institute. This position requires the operational skills for running a state of the art Modern Clinical Biochemistry facility and providing logistic support to the clinical and academic programs.
Pay Band: Rs. 15600-39100
Upper Age limit as on 06.06.2016 45 yrs.

In 1957 the Ministry of Health took over the Tata Memorial Hospital.
