Responsibilities and Duties

• Hands-on, best-of-breed software engineering, within autonomous, cross-functional delivery teams
• Experienced with Java, modern frameworks and polyglot tendencies.
• Working knowledge of building Microservices using a leading technology stack such as Spring Cloud, Spring Boot
• Experienced in working with SQL and NoSQL databases such as: MS SQL, Oracle, MongoDB, CosmosDB
• Experienced in building APIs with OAuth, Tokenization, Encryption
• Experienced in developing or leveraging API Gateway (e.g. APIGEE) for runtime governance and security of backend services
• Experience working with Confluence, JIRA, git, Jenkins, Sonar or similar tools used for collaboration and continuous integration.Experienced in usage of monitoring tools like Splunk, NewRelic, AppDynamics
• Comfortable with technical implementation to high-level architecture.
• Familiarity with modern engineering practices e.g. TDD, BDD, CI/CD, PaaS, Cloud (Azure)
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience with agile methods, along with having found their limitations and ways to overcome them.
