1. Technical Assistant (Category-II)
/1 UR Post

Qualification: Bachelor degree in Science in the relevant field/ specialization or equivalent from a recognized University. OR 3 years diploma in Engineering in the relevant field from a recognized Institution.

Pay Scale : Rs.29,200

Age Limit as on 10-09-2018:  Not below 21 years OR exceeding 30 years

2. Lower Division Clerk (L.D.C.) /02 Posts

Essential: (i) 12th class pass certificate from Government recognized board. (ii) A typing speed of 35 words per minute in English OR 30 words per minute in Hindi on Computer.

Pay Scale : Rs.19,900

Age: Not below 18 years OR exceeding 27 years

3. Multi Tasking Staff (MTS)/02 Posts

Essential: 10th Standard pass certificate from recognized board / recognized school.

Desirable: 3 years or more experience in relevant trade.

Pay Scale :Rs.18,000

Age: Not below 18 years OR exceeding 27 years

About Company

The Government of Mysore had set up a Forest Research Laboratory (FRL) at Bangalore in 1938. In the initial years, work was carried out mainly on properties and uses of different timber species, essential oils, other non-wood forest products and protection of wood and trees from pests and diseases. In 1956, this laboratory was organised as a regional centre of Forest Research Institute and Colleges, Dehra Dun. In 1977, Sandal Research Centre was set up to undertake research on wide-ranging aspects of genetics, silviculture and management of sandal, a valuable tree well distributed all over Southern India. In 1977, the marine centres of Wood Preservation Branch, Forest Research Institutes & Colleges, Dehra Dun functioning at Vishakhapatnam, Madras, Goa and Kochi were transferred to Forest Research Laboratory, Bangalore.
