Technical Consultant-IIMBx recruitment in Indian Institute of Management Bangalore
Key Skills / Abilities / Knowledge required: Technical Skills: Proficiency in use of at least one Learning Management System / Content Management System (CMS). Proficiency in HTML, XML, web development technologies, web publishing, web server. Should possess knowledge of HTML, XML, CSS, Django, python, MongoDB, SQL. Exposure to handling media (videos/images) related software. Proficiency with MS Office. Basic levels of IT support.Vendor Management. Understanding the process requirement and identifying new solutions that will help in optimizing the internal processes. Ability to do comparative analysis on solutions offered by vendors and submitting report for manager review. Creating technical specification documents for tender.
Soft Skills: Strong technical thinking and troubleshooting skills are a must. Should possess excellent interpersonal skills and have a solution orientation mindset. Should be self-motivated and able to work independently, with a strong sense of urgency regarding timely follow up and customer service orientation with internal clients. Should have the ability to collaborate and work with multiple stakeholders
Educational qualification and Experience: Candidate should be a First Class Graduate in B.E/B.Tech, M.E/M.tech Computers/Information Technology, BCA/MCA. Vocational courses/Demonstrated proficiency in software development/testing/media are desirable
Experience: Should have minimum 3-5 years of experience in system and database administration and in handling assignments listed under major duties & responsibilities above.
