a. Total emoluments means approximate total emoluments on pay in pay matrix including House Rent Allowance as admissible in class 'Y' City.

Essential educational qualifications & experience: M. Sc. in Environmental Sciences/ Environmental Studies/ Microbiology/ Environmental Microbiology/ Applied Microbiology with 55% marks or B. Tech. in Environmental Science and Environmental Engineering/ Industrial Microbiology with 55% marks
Desirable experience: Two years research experience in handling and performing spectrometry / chromatography / spectroscopy for analytical / bioanalytical work and having SCI publications. Good knowledge of ISO/IEC: 17025 -2017 or GLP practices
Job requirement: Expected to assist in day-to-day analytical works using high-end sophisticated equipments such as ICP-MS, GC, FTIR, IC, etc. To assist in method development, validation of methods, quality control and quality assurance, technical support in chemical and molecular analysis of samples. One position is for bioremediation related works and other is for EIA activities.

Originally set up as the National Botanic Gardens (NBG) by the State Government of Uttar Pradesh (U.P.), it was taken over by the CSIR in 1953.
