Banaras Hindu University (BHU) invites application for the position Technical Officer
No of Post: 1
Salary: Rs.50,000/- per month fixed
Essential: B. Tech/ Diploma in Instrumentation, Mechanical, Electrical
Desirable:
1. Experience in an incubation center or industry or involved in managing a start-up.
2. Good understanding of general laboratory practices and working knowledge of instruments
3. Experience of computer applications
4. The incumbent should possess good communication managerial and leadership skills and possess good drafting and noting skills. Should be conversant with official procedures and capable of writing grant prpposal.
Job Description: Key responsibilities of TO would be to work in tandem with the Chief Executive Officer in (a) managing and maintaining the incubation center (b) enhancing the visibility of the Incubation center (c) Facilitating scientific liaison between incubatees and faculty of BHU (d) hand holding the incubatees in trouble shooting and providing necessary connections, wherever needed (f) business
development activities and (g) handling of scientific equipment and interpretation of results (g) Organizing workshops, sensitization programs, hackathons, seminars and lectures. Maintenance ando ration of equipment.
Age Limit: The candidate must not exceed 40 years on the last date of application. Age may be relaxed for experienced and well ualified candidates.
