Role: Program Manager
Location: Pune/Mumbai/Bangalore
Role Description
Own, manage, accountable for end to end program management for assigned programs. Provides full support to the Programme/Project Managers in their role of Programme/Project Delivery in the provision of the project schedule, cost, technology landscape and finance information to aid the Programme/Project control and monitoring. Will work within a structured team environment with some having line management responsibilities.
Responsibilities
Responsible and coordinates all technical requirements, design and E2E delivery of the Project
Confirm scope, develop and/ or review estimates and assumptions
Determine and Manage Migration project with respect to technology approach and estimations
Measure and monitor progress at clearly defined checkpoints
Review and hold overall accountability of the changes of requirements
Risk, Issue, Financial, Quality, Escalation and stakeholder management
Define team member roles and expectations and ensure timely feedback
Ensure that the project resources receive required training and enablement to deliver
Manages and perform activities associated with forecasting, reporting, resource planning
Support deployment of program management standard tools, process and procedures
Lead resources and ensure that they are appropriately staffed to support project management needs at the enterprise-level Responsible for selecting the methodology that best aligns with the mission and vision of their assigned Project
Set the direction for the organization’s project governance and leadership structure
Qualifications
Bachelor or Masters Degree
Excellent analytical & technical skills
Intermediate knowledge of Cloud technologies
8+ Years of recent experience in Cloud and IT transition, transformation and migration
Experience in managing application and platform migration project
Experience in managing transition projects in Infra domain
Experience in handling data centre migration engagement
Experience in managing programs by involving technically in E2E delivery of the project, that is, right from functional assessment, technical design and approach
Managed a team designing, building and/or testing infrastructure and cloud infrastructure focused solutions
Strong Leadership skills; planning and organizational skills;
Good interpersonal skills, including teamwork, facilitation and negotiation;
Must be able to demonstrate a level of maturity while under constant pressure from the business and technology community
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Negotiation with clients and cross-level communication
9-12 Years of Experience in Program Management
Project management certification (PMP, Prince2)/ training would be an advantage
Must have experience with Project Management Tools like MS Projects and MS Office
Strong organizational skills required; including good time management skills
Excellent communication skills (both written and oral)
Ability and comfort interacting with all levels of management, business leaders and technology stakeholders
Strong attention to detail
Motivated, reliable self-starter
Team player with a positive attitude
