Job Description
- We are looking for a Field Sales Engineer who can use their technical knowledge along with the sales skills to provide advice and support on our products.
- Search for new clients who might benefit from company products or services and maximize client database
- Negotiate tender, contract terms and conditions to meet both client and company needs
- Analyze costs, sales and Preparing reports
- Should have detailed product knowledge
- Should have understanding of technical specifications, and the expertise to understand customer requirements with regards to product modifications
- Carry out administrative tasks, track your sales activity, write reports, negotiate contracts and get involved with marketing tasks from time to time.
- Meet regular sales targets and coordinate sales projects
- Support marketing activities by attending conferences and other marketing events
- Make technical presentations and demonstrate how a product meets client needs
- Should be able to split their time between the office and visiting clients
- Travel to and from client companies for clients visits
- Establishing new, and maintaining existing, relationships with customers
- Writing reports, providing product education and advice
- Planning and organizing sales call schedule
- Understanding and listening to the customer requirements and explaining them accordingly
- Giving correct and accurate knowledge about the company and its products.
- Should have the ability to reach out to the target clients
- Should be willing to travel and represent the organization at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations.
- Preparing and completing action plans, identifying trends, determining system improvements; implementing change.
- Projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products
- Responsible for development and delivery of product demonstration
