Technical Support - COMPONENT

Short Description: Support members which are technically self-sufficient to execute any laboratory task with the help of set guidelines, standard procedures & instructions available in the laboratory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Familiar with vehicle components
- Component fitment & assembly
- Vehicle dismantling & assembly
- Laboratory tools working knowledge
- All types of Lab test set-ups preparation (HW&SW)
- Surface preparation for strain gauging
- Strain gauging
- Instrumentation and data acquisition
- Test track testing / Riding
- Actuators work (Electrical, Hydraulic & Pneumatic)
- Rig assembling & dismantling
- Fixture work & test set-up on rigs
- Maintaining Lab records, registers & testing log sheet
- Rig utilization plan
- Benchmarking trials
- Understanding of quality check points
- Vehicle & component preparation for Lab tests
- Component dimensional study
- Work as per standard procedure or set guidelines
- Maintenance activity in Laboratory
- Safety related understanding
- Component calibration as load cell
- Equipment and material handling in laboratory
- Camera handling , photographs capturing
Equipment handling: Test set-up preparation
Data acquisition set-up preparation:
- Cable connection
- Basic electrical work
- Sensors understanding and handling (Strain gauge, accelerometer, LVDT etc.)
Test set-up preparation:
- Tightening & marking
- Photographs capturing
- Test monitoring during regular interval
- Pre & Post-tests inspection
- Laboratory ground work monitoring
- Test completion reporting
- Report Preparation
Machines,Equipements SOPs & Component based STPs understanding ability:
- A good work Auditee
- Safety related Understanding
- Laboratory 5S ground work
- Machines /equipment Maintenance
- Excel work understanding
- Good in time & conflict management
- Work for continual improvement in Laboratory
Laboratory resource upgradation related understanding:
- Suggestion related new resource procurement
- Innovative skills
- Good in negotiation with other stakeholders
- Sincere work approach
Key Challenges:
- New technology CBS, BS6, Electric mobility, Higher cc vehicle & its dynamics.
- Resource Management (Machine & Man) during multi project.
