5. Essential Qualification & Experience:
(a) Bachelor‘s Degree in Science/Engineering or equivalent in appropriate field with at least 55% marks or an equivalent CGPA in a grade point scale in qualifying degree from a recognized University/ Institute, with at least two years relevant experience in laboratories of teaching/research Institutes/Industries or Organizations. OR
(b) Three years Diploma in Engineering or equivalent in appropriate field (after 10+2) with at least 55% marks or an equivalent CGPA in a grade point scale in qualifying degree from a recognized University/Institute, with at least three years relevant experience in laboratories of teaching/research Institutes/Industries or Organizations. Wiremen License / Permit issued by Chief Electrical Inspector / Competent Authority of respective State is essential for candidates with electrical specialization.
6. Desirable:
a. First class or equivalent grade in all university level degrees in respective discipline with a consistently good academic record; Proficiency in the use of variety of computer office applications, M.S Word, Excel, Power-point or equivalent; Experience in electronic instruments, repairing & maintenance and handling of sophisticated instruments in workshops/ Laboratory/ Industry; Proven competence in developing and establishing new testing facilities in lab; Basic understanding of valve fittings, tools, making connections etc;
b. Experience of handling high pressure gas cylinder, high flammable substances, compressor and pump; Knowledge of lab safety protocols. Good communication skills
