Job Purpose:
  • Contact businesses and individuals by telephone in order to promote and sell goods and services, receive orders, gather information, verify details etc.
  • To maximize the effectiveness of the corporate account managers by producing high quality leads and working as a team towards agreed set targets and profitability goals. 
  • To provide a high level of sales support by ensuring all queries are responded to in a efficient, professional and timely manner.

Job Context
  • As a specialized Sales & Marketing professionals we work to find the right solution enabling customers to make smarter, faster and more informed business decisions.
Principal Accountabilities
  • Contact businesses and private individuals by telephone to promote products, services and/or charitable causes
  • Identify opportunities, produce leads and book appointments for the sales force with the emphasis on high quality leads.
  • Develop creative pitches and propositions aimed at specific industry sectors.
  • Proactively follow up leads generated from canvassing by the account managers.
  • Use of initiative to identify and follow up opportunities with companies/ individuals who are not already on the database.
  • Manage the database to a high degree of accuracy to ensure targeted marketing activity can take place to generate new business.
  • Work closely with the team management to achieve sales objectives.
  • Attend monthly meetings with the corporate Account managers to update information and discuss any issues.
  • Liaise effectively with all concerned within the organization to ensure customers’ requirements are met.
  • Contribute to team performance by sharing and implementing Best practices ideas.
  • Knowledge, Skills and Experience
  • Knowledge of sales and marketing principles and strategies
  • Relevant work experience in call center sales, marketing.
  • Product knowledge
  • Proficiency in relevant computer applications
