Responsibilities & Quaifications

Experience in testing NMS (Network Management System) functionalities managing firewalls or any other networking devices such as switches or routers with domain experience in SNMP, AD, TCP/IP, DNS, HTTPS, TLS, Certificates, Database and Linux. Knowledge in Firewall and Network Security is plus.
Experience in designing the test cases, maintaining test beds and troubleshooting the setup/environmental issues specifically in Network Security field, system/performance testing, bugs verification and analysing the issues to narrow down the causes.
Experience in test automation using Python/Perl or any other language.
Knowledge of Database such as MySQL and Linux operating system.
Domain knowledge in SNMP,TCP/IP, DNS, NAT, HTTP, HTTPS, TLS, Certificates, AD, LDAP and/or similar networking protocols and concepts.
Possess good written and verbal communication skills. Must utilize these skills to communicate effectively across all groups in the organization.
Knowledge on Cloud Based platforms will be a plus
Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
Hands on Experience in testing any Network Management System functionalities managing firewalls or any other networking devices(Minimum three years hands on)
Understanding of the OSI reference model
Experience in Firewall configuration and knowledge on Network Security domain.
Experience in test automation using Python/Perl or any other language.
Basic Knowledge of Database such as MySQL/SQL
Familiarity with Linux operating system and Virtualization concepts
Domain knowledge in SNMP,TCP/IP, DNS, NAT, HTTP, HTTPS, TLS, Certificates, AD, LDAP and/or similar networking protocols and concepts.
Hands on in one or more of the following- Performance testing/scalability testing/Penetration testing/Integration testing/Regression testing
Understanding of the Agile methodology

Education & Experience

BE/BTech Computers or MTech Computers or equivalent.
Minimum 3 – 4+ years of relevant experience
