Role: As a Trainee Testing Engineer you will be involved in researching, exploration and developing some of the cutting edge solutions in the area of Location Based Services.As well as in exploration of new testing methodology and automation tools,developing automated test scripts in the area of Location Based Services

Responsibilities:

• Good understanding of software product life cycle (SDLC & STLC), QA test methodologies, Agile Methodology and Defect Life Cycle, 
  
• Execute test cases
  
• Bug reporting tools exposure.
  
• Participate in project-wide reviews of requirements and detailed design documents.
  
• Develop and execute automated tests using the selected tool, which will likely require programming in C, C++, Java, or some scripting language.
  
• Effectively communicate testing activities and findings in oral and written formats.
  
• Integrate the test suites into the test management system and custom test harnesses.
  
• Work collaboratively with QA engineers through participation in the testing process and review of QA documentation.

Requirements:

• Well experienced in a language like Java .
  
• Primary Skills: Java, Test Automation, Selenium Web Driver

Nice to have:

• Certification in testing tools or testing skills desirable.
  
• Candidate having minimum experience on Selenium tool.
  
• Test Planning
  
• Participate in a test automation tool selection process for an automated component testing harness in a Java/EJB/Ant environment.
  
• Perform static analysis of source code using complexity metrics.
  
• Candidates having minimum 6 Months experience to a maximum of 1 Year experience in Testing and Minimum 6 Months experience in Selenium.
  

Candidate Should Also Possess:

• The candidate should show a familiarity with the latest testing theory and practice, a commitment to on-going learning about the field, and a history of applying useful testing concepts in previous positions.
  
• A demonstrated ability to work effectively and harmoniously as part of an independent test team within a project-service-organization context is required.
