Job Description
1. Gather all design concepts, find out required supplying vendors and communicate design concepts to the production team, factories, and suppliers
2. Work on sample development, quality testing coordination and work closely with identified vendors
3. Keep a track of end to end product development & manufacturing workflow
4. Ensure product quality and ensure that execution meets our standards and timeline
5. Conduct cost analysis per fabrication, styling, and product construction
6. Negotiate with vendors for best competitive quotations and quality
7. Monitor WIP order tracking activities to ensure on-time deliveries at the end of third party manufacturers with correct quality and quantity
8. Communicate the changes that impact on cost & quality to all parties
Only those candidates can apply who:
1. are available for full time (in-office) internship
2. can start the internship between 9th Sep'20 and 14th Oct'20
3. are available for duration of 2 months
4. have relevant skills and interests
1. Must have at least 1-2 years of experience with home textile brands or export houses
2. Must have high adaptability and flexibility to changing business environments
3. Must be able to work independently and should be willing to go on the field to execute the entire product manufacturing process
4. Must be detail-oriented and should be able to handle a very structured process
5. Must have strong interpersonal, communication, problem-solving, and negotiation skills
6. Must have a good network of product manufacturing vendors across India
7. Candidates who are graduates from top institutions like NIFT/NID will be preferred
8. Candidate should have his/her own vehicle
