Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Concepts on best practicing method for Specific projects
- Be able to think creatively to resolve technical challenges and limitations
- Customize art packages so that they are as streamlined as possible for specific projects
- Show technical proficiency in areas such as modeling, texturing, lighting, rendering, and graphics-related issues
Minimum Qualifications:
- Expertise in the texturing capabilities for assets to be used in production or game enginesmodelling, texturing, rigging, animation and special effects.
- Have extensive knowledge of art packages ranging from modelling, texturing, rigging, animation and special effects.
- Be highly skilled in the use of 2D/3D/DCC graphics software such as Maya, Photoshop, substance designer, or similar.
- Should have strong knowledge of Adobe CC application such as After Effects, Premiere Pro and others.
- Knowledge of Particles, fluids, physics simulation and other elements such as vector fields, locator in Maya or max or similar.
- 1 to 5 years’ game/production/animation industry experience as a texture artist
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
- Should have good experience of working in Unity3D including prefabs, animations, lighting.
- Understanding of various lighting conditions, HDRI lighting, skybox, studio lighting setup in Maya and game engines (Unity preferred).
- Understanding of glossiness-specular workflow, Post-process, colour correction.
- Strong traditional art skills are a plus
- Experience working with a distributed team
- Has a portfolio of digital art, animation and/ or at least one output that has been published on any distribution channels or stores, which we can review
- Have good communication and people management skills, in order to train and mentor others
- Be able to work with minimum supervision
- Be able to anticipate the Technical needs of other artists so as to streamline their productivity
- Artistic and relevant technical skills (including concept art, illustration and UI design)
