Operations Analyst recruitment in The World Bank Group
Qualification: Master’s degree or equivalent in a field relevant to water resources management and water service delivery, such as engineering, resource or infrastructure economics, or public policy.
At least three years of relevant working experience in infrastructure or natural resources management in the government, non-profit, or private sector. Strong organizational, research, and oral presentation skills; strong editorial and report writing skills and track record of conducting and publishing independent research or operational work; ability to deliver information effectively in support of team or workgroup. Is able to synthesize, analyze, and effectively present material from a wide range of sources. Articulates ideas, verbally, and in writing, using the most effective means of delivery and appropriate verbal and graphical content. Can quickly draft and prepare articles and analytical and technical reports for the review of more senior colleagues. Uses charts, graphs and other data presentation techniques appropriately to communicate data, technical information, or complex concepts to non-specialists. Familiarity with the economic, social and political context and its impact on the development process in South Asia region. Proven analytical and problem-solving skills and proven ability to apply these in carrying out complex research and operational tasks, identifying issues and contributing to resolution of sector and country issues. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to develop effective relations within and outside the Bank, and to promote collaboration within the team to meet unit objectives. Ability to work flexibly on a range of assignments, and adjust to and prioritize a variety of complex evolving tasks. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, multi-cultural environment. Solid Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) skills needed. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
