Junior Assistant Grade/Junior Steno Typist recruitment in Tamil Nadu Newsprint and Papers Ltd. (TNPL)
Junior Assistant Grade III Trainee/ 25 Post
Qualification : First Class full time M.Com from recognized University / Institution. Preference will be given to candidates with additional qualification in Diploma in Computer Applications
Age : 25-30 Yrs
Junior Steno Typist Grade III Trainee/ 10 Post
Qualification : Graduation in any discipline (other than Engineering Degree) with English Typewriting Senior Grade (45 wpm) and English shorthand Lower Grade (80 wpm) Preference will be given to candidates with additional qualifications in Diploma in Computer Application / Tamil Typewriting
Age : 25-30 Yrs
Pay Scale : I year Stipend – Rs. 9,750/-p.m II year Stipend – Rs. 11,250/-p.m (After completion of training, candidates will be fitted in Junior Assistant Grade III / Junior Steno Typist Grade III in the pay scale of Rs. 7734-9224)
Grade VI Trainee/ 2 Post
Qualification : First Class full time M.Sc. (Chemistry) from recognized University / Institution
Age : 27-30 Yrs
Pay Scale : I year Stipend – Rs. 9,750/-p.m II year Stipend – Rs. 11,250/-p.m (After completion of training, candidates will be fitted in Grade VI pay scale of Rs. 4115-6875 as per Cement Wage Board)
Training Period : 2 years

About Company
Tamil Nadu Newsprint and Papers Limited (TNPL) was established by the Government of Tami Nadu during early eighties to produce Newsprint and Printing & Writing Paper using bagasse, a sugarcane residue, as primary raw material. The Company commenced production in the year 1984 with a initial capacity of 90,000 tonnes per annum (tpa). Over the years, the production capacity has been increased to 2,45,000 tpa and the Company has emerged as the largest bagasse based Paper Mill in the world consuming about one million tonnes of bagasse every year. The Company completed a Mill Expansion Plan during December 2010 to increase the mill capacity to 4,00,000 tpa.
