Eligibility : (b) He/ She must have passed Class-X standard in MIL Odia. In case he/she has not done Odia as a subject upto Class X standard , then he/she should have qualified at the single subject Odia examn. Upto High School standard conducted by the Board of secondary Education, Cuttack. (c) He/she must have successfully completed a 4-years integrated Degree course of Regional College of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject with minimum 50 % marks in aggregate (45% for SC/ ST/PH candidates) OR he/she should have a Bachelors Degree with minimum 50% marks in the concerned subjects/combination of subjects and in aggregate (45 % for SC/ST/ PH candidates) along with a B.Ed, from an NCTE-recognized institution & affiliated to a recognised University. Additionally. the electives subjects & languages in the combination of subjects should be as detailed in the educational qualification for specific posts. Regarding Universities/institutions of outside State, the candidates shall only be eligible for engagement after verification of genuineness of their educational/ training qualification from concerned university/institution from which they have obtained the degree . (d) Such outside University/institution pass out candidates shall have to produce the authenticated proof of equivalency and NCTE recognition in support of their qualification at the time of verification failing which their case will not be entertained.

Selection Procedure:-Selection will be made by the District Selection Committee headed by the Collector, Balangir. Inspector of Schools (SSD), Sambalpur, District Inspector of Schools (SSD), Balangir are members and District Welfare Officer, Balangir is Member Secretary of the Committee (as per Govt. in ST&SC Development Deptt. Notification No. 3475/TW, Dtd.13.12.1993). Selection shall be made only on merit i.e. on the basis of percentage of marks.
