Job Description
- Provide L2/L3 system administration support
- Follow SOPs & provide support on Windows Server & Citrix related issues reported through Service Now Incident tickets
- Carry out routine checklist activities related to system monitoring & administration
- Carry out daily administration tasks & regular maintenance activities on Windows/Citrix/VMWare Infrastructure
- Perform OS Installation & upgrades as per requirements provided by internal stakeholders
- Assist with documentation of SOPs & creation of relevant support documents
- Knowledge of Windows Server Operating System (2012 or later)
- Knowledge of Basic Networking Concepts
- Experience or working knowledge in Cloud technologies (Microsoft Azure/AWS)
- Experience or working knowledge of Virtualization technologies (VMWare/Hyper-V & Citrix)
- Experience scripting in PowerShell, VBScript, Batch, Azure CLI will be an added advantage.
- Familiar with key Server Hardware/OS concepts such as RAID Configuration, Disk & File System Management, Windows Failover Clustering, etc.
- Any relevant IT Certification is nice to have but not mandatory
- Knowledge of ITIL processes is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong written/verbal communication skills to collaborate with various internal & external stakeholders
- Good organizational skills to prioritize work and effectively multi-task.
- Self-driven and ability to learn quickly
- Flexible and ability to work well in a team environment
- Prior experience in the IT field (not mandatory)
- Provide L1/L2 administration support of Azure Cloud, OS, Databases and applications.
- Follow SOPs & provide support on Operating systems, Applications and databases related issues reported through Service Now Incident tickets
- Create scripts to automate and simplify administrative tasks and other requirements as requested
- Carry out routine checklist activities related to system monitoring & administration
- Assist with documentation of SOPs & creation of relevant support documents
- Knowledge of Linux Operating Systems like SUSE, RHEL and Ubuntu
- Knowledge of at least one scripting language like PowerShell, Python, JavaScript, Perl is mandatory.
- Knowledge of Databases like Oracle, MS SQL and MySQL
- Knowledge of Basic Networking Concepts
- Knowledge in Cloud technologies (Microsoft Azure/AWS)
