Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities
- The sales intern must learn about different aspects of the sales cycle and also different techniques used for outdoor sales
- Generate new leads and set appointments to Demonstrate the product through telemarketing / meeting them face to face.
- Works closely with Business Development Managers to qualify prospects, coordinate meetings, and drive new opportunities.
- Clearly and effectively communicates product to prospects.
- Strives to meet or exceed prospecting goals on daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly basis.
- A sales intern must have excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Candidate is also needs to have very good organizational skills
- Candidate should be persuasive and know how to negotiate well
- Candidate should be hardworking and willing to do a lot of legwork at the grassroots level if required
- Sales interns are students of management courses and may also pursue commerce degrees.
- Must have basic computer knowledge and should be experienced with Microsoft Office products, primarily Word & Excel.
