Brief description :

• Supporting problems over the phone, email and chat by following ITIL processes
• Responsible for logging and allocation of the calls
• Update the call status to Team Leader and Users by following the SLA
• Basic system administration
• Effective communication across the teams and users
• Deal with client enquiries promptly, efficiently and courteously
• Proactive monitoring and managing of network, bandwidth and servers using Network monitoring applications
• Prepare daily/weekly/monthly/annual reports as and when required from the call logging system
• Coordinate and conduct review meetings
• Ability to prioritize own work load
• Make recommendations to Team Lead regarding process improvements
• Contribute to overall performance of the team for meeting the SLA

The IT Services team is responsible for developing and supporting our customer and employee services currently spanning 8 physical sites, an increasing number of remote locations and running on over 240 physical and virtual servers running a variety of operating systems. The team uses methods based on the ITIL framework to support this large infrastructure. 

Preferred skills:

• Any B.Tech/B.E/MCA/BCA/BSc degree holder (2016 passouts) preferably with Microsoft certifications/course done (MCITP/MCTS).
• Thorough knowledge in desktop, server operating system & networking, especially onto areas – IP’s, Group Policies, Raids, Port nos, FSMO etc.
• Should be able to comfortably converse & write in English .
• Candidate must be willing to work in shifts (including night shifts). Both pick and drop facilities will be provided.
