Department of Fisheries (DP), Kavaratti-Training Programme to Paid apprentice for the year 2018-19
Repair and Maintenance of Marine Engines
Qualification : SSLC or equivalent with ITI (NCVT) in the trade of Fitter, Turner, Marine Mechanic; Diesel Mechanic, Shore Mechanic .
Duration : 12 Months
Repair and Maintenance of ice plant and Cold storages
Qualification : SSLC or equivalent with ITI (NCVT) in the trade of Refrigeration /Air conditioning Mechanic.
Duration : 9 Months
Stipend : Candidates will get a monthly stipend of Rs.3000/- per month during the training period.
Selection criteria : Selection on the basis of marks obtained in SSLC or Equivalent & ITI Examination.
