Interpreter/Translator 

Job Description 

We are looking for a multilingual, experienced translator to translate the text as well as conversations. The Translator will be responsible for the accurate translation of documents and emails, as well as attending meetings in which live translations are needed.

Translator Responsibilities:

·Provide accurate translations of texts.

·Attend meetings to translate discussions.

·Liaise with colleagues to ensure that translations are true to the original meaning 

·The ideal candidate would be fluent in speaking Hindi and English languages.

·We require an experienced English to Hindi and Hindi to English the translator who has an excellent vocabulary, writing skills, work ethic, and adaptability.

Qualification :

·High school degree and/or experience in the field preferred

·Previous professional interpreter training and interpreting skill proficiency testing preferred

Between the late 1980’s and mid-90’s, PIL made the transition from the predominantly break-bulk, into a largely containerized shipping operation.
