We are looking for a passionate about travel, travel consultants with minimum 2- 3 years experience in travel industry. You will manage travel requirements made for business or holiday and you will provide tourism related services and package tours domestic and international. The goal is to keep our clients satisfied and loyal for future services.
Responsibilities
- Must have good domain knowledge of Domestic & International Tour Packages.
- Plan and sell transportations holiday packages (domestic and international), accommodations, insurance & other travel services.
- Cooperate with clients to determine their needs and advise them appropriate destination, modes of transportations, travel dates, costs & accommodations.
- Provide relevant information, brochures and publications (guides, local customs, maps, regulations, events etc) to travellers.
- Book transportation, make hotel reservations and collect payment/fees.
- Must have good relationship with vendors.
- Use promotional techniques and prepare promotional materials to sell itinerary tour packages.
- Deal with occurring travel problems, complaints or refunds.
- Attend travel seminars to remain updated with tourism trends.
- Network with tour operators
Requirements
- Proven working experience as a travel consultant.
- Fluency in English, Hindi; multilingualism is a plus.
- Strong sales skills and commercial awareness.
- Ability to interact, communicate and negotiate effectively.
- Sound knowledge of domestic and international travel trends.
- Degree/Diploma in Hospitality, Travel, Tourism, Business or relevant field will be an added advantage.
Qualifications: A degree in any subject is acceptable, although travel, tourism, languages, leisure, business studies or management degree holders may be at an advantage.
