Recruitment to the posts of Tutor/Demonstrator in 47 disciplines in the cadre of West Bengal Medical Education Service
Scale of Pay: {Level 16: 56100(BP) + 13464(NPA) + 6732 (HRA) + 500 (MA)} i.e. Rs.76796 as per ROPA 2019.
A) Academic & Experience : Essential : i) MBBS Degree from MCI recognized University in accordance with the regulation made by the Medical Council of India and included in the First or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act,1956(102 of 1956) ;
ii) Weightage will be given to candidates holding recognized Postgraduate Degree the disciplines under the Specialities Group and recognized Post Doctoral Degree (for disciplines under the Super Specialities Group) in the concerned discipline in accordance with the “Minimum Qualifications for Teachers in Medical Institutions Regulations,1998” framed by the Medical Council of India, published in Part-III, Section-4 of the Gazette of India, dated the 5 th day of December,1998, as subsequently amended, and which are included in the First or Second or Third Schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act,1956(102 of 1956).
Desirable : i) Publications in peer reviewed journals Indexed with Index Medicus or Journals at the National Level of the National Academic Organizations will be accepted only. 1st and 2nd author in the Publication will be considered. ii) Two years’ service experience in rural areas.

Fee : Candidates must submit online the application fee amounting to Rs. 210/- (Rupees two hundred ten) only through GRIPS ( Govt. Receipt Portal System ), Govt. of West Bengal under the Head of Account ‘0051-00-104-002-16’. Money Order, Cheque, Bank Draft, Cash etc. shall not be acceptable. No application shall be considered unless accompanied with the requisite application fee.
