Job Description
United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) invites application for the position Consultant
Post Name: Consultant – Sustainable Finance
Education:
a) Master’s degree in finance, business administration, economics or a related field with expertise in innovative and sustainable development finance mechanisms and blended finance instruments with 10 or more years of increasingly senior level experience in development finance, impact investment and ESG Tools; or
b) Graduate degree/diploma finance, business administration, economics or in a related field with 15 or more years of increasingly senior level experience in development finance, impact investment and ESG Tools.
Experience:
a) Knowledge of the latest research, progress and lessons in development finance and experience applying best practices, tools, and approaches in India;
b) Knowledge and experience working in gender equality and women empowerment preferred, or ability to develop this knowledge;
c) Previous experience of working or engaging with financial institutions in the public or private sector a plus.
Language:
a) Fluency in English and working knowledge of the language of the duty station.
b) Excellent writing and communication skills.
c) Oral and written fluency in English
