University of Delhi (DU) invites applications for the position of Technical Officer
Applications are invited for the following post purely on a contractual basis under the BIRAC-sponsored BioNEST program. The posts are temporary and co-terminus with the project. The post, essential qualifications for eligibility, and remuneration, are mentioned below
1. Post: Technical Officer
2. No of Post: 01
3. Remuneration: 60000/- per month consolidated
4. Essential qualifications: Ph.D. in any branch of Life Sciences with at least 3 years experience thereafter, OR M.Sc./M.Tech in any branch of Life Sciences with at least 5 years of experience thereafter, either in research and development in the academic/corporate sector or management of operations of high-value sophisticated instrumentation facilities in the academic/corporate sector. Partial relaxation of qualifications may be considered in the case of candidates with past experience in other bio-incubators/ instrumentation facilities/fermenter operations.
5. Job description: Operation and general maintenance of BioNEST sophisticated instruments on a day-to-day basis, maintaining accounts of all purchases and expenditure, overseeing overall maintenance of the Facility, assisting in BioNEST purchases.
