University of Hyderabad (UoH) invites application for the position Guest Faculty
1. Post Name: Guest Faculty
Course to be taught: Television genres and formats
Qualifications: MA in Journalism/Mass Communication with at least 55% AND NET/SLET A relaxation of 5% is provided for SC/ST/OBC candidates Superannuated teachers may also be considered subject to a maximum age limit of 70 years. Specialisation: Television Production
Desirable Qualifications: Experience: At least five years of experience in the television industry involving production and production supervision. Demonstrable knowledge of different video genres and formats and AV storytelling approaches and high competence in all aspects of video production
The honorarium will be Rs.1,500/ lecture, subject to a maximum of Rs.50,000/ month

Desirable Qualifications: Ph.D in Mass Communication & Journalism Teaching experience at the post-graduate level and a demonstrable familiarity with a range of communication and media theories.
The honorarium will be Rs.1,500/ lecture, subject to a maximum of Rs.50,000/ month

Course to be taught: Film theory and Criticism
Qualifications: MA in Journalism/Mass Communication with at least 55% AND NET/SLET A relaxation of 5% is provided for SC/ST/OBC candidates. Superannuated teachers may also be considered subject to a maximum age limit of 70 years. Specialisation: Film Studies/ Visual Culture
Desirable Qualifications: Ph.D in Mass Communication & Journalism Teaching experience at the post-graduate level and a demonstrable familiarity with a range of communication and media theories. Proven research in the area of film studies or visual culture, and teaching experience at the Postgraduate level and a demonstrable familiarity with a range of communication and media theories.
The honorarium will be Rs.1,500/ lecture, subject to a maximum of Rs.50,000/ month
Age Limit: Superannuated teachers may also be considered subject to a maximum age limit of 70 years
